THU DUC CITY ENCOURAGES CONSULTANCY TO DEVELOP LOGISTICS CENTERS
On 9th June 2022, The people committee of Thu Duc coordinated with the Department of Commerce and Industry and Hochiminh City Logistics Association (HLA) to organize a seminar on the Planning of logistics centers in Thu Duc city.
As the plan, Thu Duc city will have 4 centers on a total 400 ha area. Through this seminar, Thu Duc city leaders want to have comments, and ideas from experts in relevant activities in logistics for better planning in the long term by maximizing all the assets, land, and manpower of the city. The main four centers are Long Binh at the river bank of Dong Nai river with 50ha, Cat Lai with 200-292ha, Linh Trung industrial park with 60-70ha, and Hi-tech park with 5-6ha.
With a lot of advantages of land, manpower, and especially a series of terminals keeping 70%-80% sharing of container volume of Hochiminh city, Thu Duc will succeed if manage well all of these advantages to the top position of the country in logistics. Voltrans Logistics, as well as other logistics providers, will contribute efforts to make this ambition come true with Thu Duc city and Hochiminh city./.
