VIETNAM ASPIRES TO BE AN INTERNATIONAL LOGISTICS AND TRANSSHIPMENT HUB
In the meeting on 11th Dec 2022 during the official trip in the Netherlands, with a coastline of 3,260 km, PM wishes to cooperate with the Netherlands in building seaports, contributing to realizing the goal of turning Vietnam into an international logistics and transshipment center.
At the same time, with the large volume of goods passing through international maritime routes in the East Sea, Vietnam is consistent in its view of ensuring security, safety, and freedom of aviation and navigation in the East Sea, resolving disputes by peaceful measures on the basis of international law.
On the other hand, PM also mentioned that the exploitation of sand and marine resources must ensure sustainable development. sustainability must be encouraged.
The Prime Minister said that Vietnam continued promoting mechanisms, encouraging investors, developing green power, and especially making efforts to improve people’s knowledge, and training, and fostering talents with specific policies.
The Prime Minister emphasized the orientation to bring the cooperation relationship between Vietnam and the Netherlands mainly from a development partnership in the past time to mutually beneficial cooperation in the coming time.
